Eric Trump has called Prince Harry and Meghan ‘spoily apples’ in a withering two-word remark. The 40-year-old businessman spoke to GB News recently and criticised the Duke and Duchess of Sussex while reaffirming his father’s love for the British Royal Family. Eric’s father is seeking re-election, suggested that Harry could face deportation if his father wins the US presidential elections in November.
While speaking to the publication, he said, “What I can tell you is, my father had so much respect for the [late] Queen, as did I.
My mum knew so many of them for years and had a great relationship with Diana. It’s a sacred institution. You can happily have those two.
We might not want them anymore; it feels like they’re on an island of their own.” Trump Junior also added that Harry and Meghan are like spoiled apples and the royal firm should be protected.
Earlier this year, the former US President hinted that he might deport Prince Harry. When asked about the father-of-two, he said that there would be no preferential treatment for anyone.
While discussing whether Harry would get any ‘special privileges,’ Trump said, “No. We’ll have to see if they know something about the drugs, and if he lied, they’ll have to take appropriate action.” He also added that he wouldn’t protect Harry because he betrayed the queen, which is unforgivable.
This comes after Harry’s claims about drug use in his explosive memoir Spare sparked questions about his US Visa. Under US law, this would be grounds to reject a visa application.
