Meghan Markle’s fans have wondered what her real first name is, as we know that the Duchess of Sussex goes by her middle name.

Interestingly enough, Meghan’s real name is the same as her character in the popular television series Suits: Rachel. Although she was originally christened Rachel Meghan Markle, the royal mother-of-two seldom uses her first name in public.

Late Queen Elizabeth II used Meghan’s real first name when she gave her official consent to Prince Harry for marrying the Hollywood actress.

While making the announcement, the Queen highlighted the full names of the couple.

“My Lords, I declare My Consent to a Contract of Matrimony between My Most Dearly Beloved Grandson, Prince Henry Charles Albert David of Wales and Rachel Meghan Markle, which Consent I am causing to be signified under the Great Seal and to be entered in the Books of the Privy Council,” she said at the time.

Although the reason why Meghan doesn’t use her first name remains unclear, she hasn’t kept the moniker a secret.

In the acting world, many adapt a ‘stage name,’ perhaps one with a catchier ring to it.

Recently, a TikToker who runs a fansite of Harry and Meghan called team_meghanxharry revealed Meghan’s first name along with some snaps of the former actress.

This information spread like fire amongst the royal fans and they went crazy over it.
