Camilla refuse to attend King Charles brothers buriaI as William and Harry b@nned her from coming
This week, Prince Harry went on a quiet trip to the UK to attend his uncle’s funeral, Lord Robert Fellowes.
*The Sun* reports that Prince William, his brother, attended the service as well, but the two kept their distance. The brothers sat apart and did not communicate with one another.
According to a source who spoke with *The Sun*, “William and Harry were both there, but we never saw them speak to each other, and they were keeping their distance.”
Another person said, “I was unaware that they were present; they arrived in complete secrecy.” The burial service was held at St. Mary’s Congregation in Snettisham, close to Sandringham in Norfolk, marking the first time the estranged siblings were in the same place since their father, King Charles’s, coronation the previous spring.
In *Spare*, Harry claimed that he and William were barely exchanging words at Queen Elizabeth’s funeral. Yesterday was the day of Robert Fellowes’ funeral. A church warden told the BBC, “It was wonderful that both princes were able to attend their uncle’s memorial service yesterday at St. Mary’s Church. The service was a beautiful family event, praising the life of such a unique man. Numerous friends and members of the St. Mary’s church family were also in attendance.”
The Prince of Wales and Prince Harry attended Queen Elizabeth’s burial service in 2022. The Prince of Wales and Duke of Sussex both attended a memorial service for their mother’s brother-in-law, Lord Robert. A congregation superintendent who wished to remain anonymous told the BBC, “The fact that both princes were able to attend the memorial service for their uncle yesterday at St. Mary’s Church was wonderful. The funeral was a lovely family event to remember such a special man. Many friends and members of the St. Mary’s church family were also present.”
*The Sun* claims that the brothers kept their distance from one another during the service and were not observed to speak to one another. Prince Harry and Prince William have not been seen together in the UK since 2023 due to an ongoing rift within the royal family.
The Duke of Sussex recently visited the UK to see his father, King Charles, in February, and again for the Invictus Games, a worldwide sporting event for injured and sick members of the military and veterans, in May.
Queen Elizabeth II, seated in an open carriage and wearing a yellow hat, attended Royal Ascot in 2017 at Ascot Racecourse with Lord Fellowes, who was married to Lady Jane Spencer, Princess Diana’s sister, for more than 40 years. Lord Fellowes, the uncle to both Prince William and Prince Harry, was also a cousin of Ronald Ferguson, the father of Prince Andrew’s former wife, Sarah Ferguson, Duchess of York.
The service was held at St. Mary’s Church near the Sandringham estate. Lord Fellowes worked in Queen Elizabeth II’s private office from 1977 to 1999, spending the majority of the 1990s as her private secretary, the most senior official in the Monarch’s household. This photo was taken on a picturesque summer day. He guided the royal family through a turbulent period marked by Diana and Charles’s divorce in 1996, a fire at Windsor Castle in 1992, and her death in 1997.
