An Australian man named Simon Charles Dorante-Day has long claimed that he is the illegitimate child of King Charles III and Queen Camilla, despite official records indicating that Charles and Camilla did not meet until five years after his birth.
Dorante-Day was adopted in the UK when he was around 8 months old, in August 1966, at which time Camilla would have been 18 and Charles 17.
However, the couple is recorded as having met in 1971, casting significant doubt on Dorante-Day’s assertions.
Dorante-Day has consistently requested a DNA test to prove his claim, but these requests have been rejected. He has now shared a photo of his daughter Miriam on social media, suggesting that she bears a striking resemblance to Princess Charlotte, the daughter of Prince William and Catherine, Princess of Wales.
His Facebook page, where he has over 27,000 followers, contains numerous side-by-side images comparing himself to members of the Royal Family.
Dorante-Day has also shared a story about his adoptive grandmother, who allegedly worked for Queen Elizabeth II. According to him, she revealed on her deathbed that he was the child of Charles and Camilla. He further claims that procedures were carried out during his childhood to change his appearance, such as altering his eye color and teeth.
The Royal Family has not publicly responded to Dorante-Day’s allegations. However, some of his social media followers have commented on the perceived similarities between his daughter and Princess Charlotte. One person noted, “There is such a lot of similarity between them; it’s uncanny.”
In a recent interview with 7 News Australia, Dorante-Day expressed his determination to take legal action against King Charles and Queen Camilla if they visit Australia, as anticipated in 2024. He emphasized his commitment to uncovering the truth about his paternity and obtaining DNA evidence to support his claim, saying, “I’m 100% confident that I will have the answers to this and the truth out there.”
Despite skepticism surrounding his story, Dorante-Day insists that his pursuit of the truth is genuine and not motivated by a desire for fame or money. “All we want is the truth,” he stated, calling on both Charles and Camilla to “come clean” about his alleged royal lineage.
