When Stephen Curry, a famous point guard for the Golden State Warriors, is not performing at his peak, his home team invariably prevails.

Ayesha Curry wrote to her spouse on Valentine’s Day of last year, “My eternal valentine…I love you,” in recognition of their enduring partnership.

It was acceptable to keep the letter brief, as the couple had just posted about date night, their 10th Christmas With the Currys event, and their visit to the White House.

Despite the fact that they both have demanding professions, these two continue to find extraordinary methods to spend time together.

“My God! “Loving this journey with you more and more,” Steph wrote in the captions of several photographs from their eleventh wedding anniversary trip to Europe. “Excellent in every way already, and who knows what the future holds.” The very greatest portion! The uplifting tale of these enduring sweethearts is one to savor, especially in light of the extensive personal drama that seems to adhere to the lives of NBA players like athletic tape and the numerous Basketball Wives who are no longer or never were spouses of basketball stars.

“I was 23 years old and she was 22 when we were married,” Steph told Parents magazine in 2016. “But I knew I had found the right woman and I wanted to start a life with her.”

When they were 14 and 15, respectively, and members of the same church youth group in Charlotte, North Carolina, the couple met. However, it appears that the future Warriors superstar was too bashful to ask Ayesha out on a date, and high school regulations prohibited dating.

“We always laughed at the fact that we were both focused on God,” Ayesha told Parents of her family’s 14-year-old relocation from Toronto to Charlotte.

“When I first moved to the United States, he was among the first people I saw,” Ayesha revealed to E! News’ Jason Kennedy in October 2017. “Didn’t say two words to him.”

She did inform her sisters that she had observed a handsome man, but “they ridiculed me because they thought he resembled a relative.” While shaking her head, she continued, “Although I fail to perceive this, it appears that everyone else does! “I don’t know, perhaps it’s because we’re on the same wavelength.”

Son of former NBA player Dell Curry and older sibling of Brooklyn Nets’ Seth Curry, Steph attended Davidson College in North Carolina, where he appeared in three consecutive NCAA tournaments and was named a two-time Southern Conference Men’s Player of the Year. (He returned to campus in September 2022 to complete the degree program he had commenced sixteen years prior and to have his No. 30 jersey retired.)In 2008, while attending the ESPYs in Los Angeles, Steph and Ayesha reconnected; Ayesha had relocated to the west to pursue an acting career.

“That was fate itself, two Charlotte-born children reuniting in Los Angeles on a whim,” Steph stated on In Depth With Graham Bensinger in 2016.

Ayesha distinctly recalled their re-meeting in a different way…
