Chef Curry has turned the Golden State Warriors into one of the Greatest Dynasties of all time, which has heavily boosted the economy of Oakland and San Francisco. Apart from his achievements on the basketball court, Steph and his wife, Ayesha Curry, continue to support the underprivileged kids of Oakland.
Through their foundation “Eat. Learn. Play.”, the couple has helped thousands of underprivileged kids get the life they deserve.
The 2-time New York Times Bestselling author Ayesha Curry revealed the couple’s plans to raise $50 million to help the kids of Oakland.
In a recent interview with CBS News, Ayesha Curry talked about their plans to raise $50 million over the next three years through their Eat. Learn. Play. Foundation. Steph and Ayesha launched their charity foundation in 2019, intending to provide the kids of Oakland with three necessities, nutritious meals, quality reading resources, and opportunities to play. According to the couple, these are the three basic pillars for the healthy growth of every child.
“It’s the fact that these are three very simple things in life that every child should have access to, and so when you’re not afforded these things, it’s like, how can I even dream?” Ayesha Curry added, talking about the importance of basic resources for young children. Since its inception, Steph and Ayesha’s foundation has raised a lot of funds and helped thousands of kids in the Oakland region. The couple has provided 25 million nutritious meals, renovated 12 playing areas in the region, and raised $6 million to support children’s education. After helping thousands of kids, the couple has even bigger goals for the next 3 years.
