Beckhams Come Out STRONGER Against Prince Harry & Meghan In The Docu-Series War

David and Victoria Beckham’s Netflix documentary, Beckham, has stormed the Emmy nominations.

This leaves Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s docuseries in the dust.

The once-tight friendship between these high-profile couples has soured over recent years, and this snub adds a new chapter to their ongoing feud.

Well, this indeed proves that the rivalry is far from over.

Sussexes & Beckhams In A Biopic Rivalry

David and Victoria Beckham’s Netflix doc, Beckham, is on fire with five Emmy nominations. Meanwhile, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s docuseries didn’t get a single nod. The drama between the Sussexes and the Beckhams has been brewing for a while, but this is a big blow for Harry and Meghan.

The feud between the Sussexes and the Beckhams reportedly began around 2019 when Prince Harry and Meghan Markle allegedly felt snubbed by Victoria and David Beckham. The couple were seen as close friends but did not publicly support them during their royal struggles.

The 76th Annual Emmy Awards announced their nominations on July 17, 2024. David Beckham and his wife’s docuseries is about David’s amazing journey from a humble start to becoming a global soccer star. The series is directed by Fisher Stevens, the actor who played Hugo Baker in Succession.

It has scored nominations in several big categories: Best Documentary or Nonfiction Series, Outstanding Cinematography, Outstanding Directing, Outstanding Picture Editing, and Outstanding Music Composition. David shared, “ Making this series was such a personal journey, a love letter to football and my family.”

He also mentioned that both he and Victoria were overwhelmed by the series’ warm and positive response. Meanwhile, The Sussexes’ show revealed explosive details about the British royals and was an instant hit. It soared to the top spot on Netflix, racking 81.6 million hours watched in just four days.

However, by 2023, Harry & Meghan missed out on an Emmy nomination, and Heart of Invictus didn’t get one in 2024 either. Will this deepen the rivalry between the couples? Also, who do you side with? Let us know in the comments section!
