Stephen Curry, the NBA superstar known for his confidence on the basketball court, is now channeling that confidence to help inspire others through his new children’s book, “I am Extraordinary.”
The book tells the story of Zoe, a girl who initially feels self-conscious about wearing hearing aids. With the support of her friends, Zoe learns to embrace her uniqueness and finds her place on her school’s soccer team.
Inspired by his own experiences and challenges, Curry hopes to instill in children the message of embracing their uniqueness and overcoming obstacles.
“Coming up through basketball, I didn’t pass the eye test. I was called a late bloomer, but it was about developing confidence in who I was, developing a work ethic, and not getting deterred by failure along the way,” Curry explained.
