A new YouGov list has revealed the most popular members of the Royal Family according to the opinion of the British public.
A new list has revealed the most popular members of the Royal Family based on public opinion.
The YouGov poll has listed members of the Royal Family in order of popularity, with the most liked member of the Firm listed at the top of the list and the least liked at the bottom.
Although no longer alive, the late Queen Elizabeth has still been ranked as the most popular royal with a popularity score of 77 per cent. The Princess of Wales is then second on the list, with Kate scoring a huge 73 per cent.
Princess Anne follows in third place with a 70 per cent popularity score, followed by Prince William and then King Charles.
With 21 royals listed, it comes as no surprise that certain members of the family are close to the bottom of the list.
In last place with the lowest popularity is Prince Andrew, the Duke of York.
The disgraced prince, who was been plagued by scandal in recent years, had a very low 14 per cent popularity score, making him the most unpopular member of the Royal Family.
Meghan Markle and Prince Harry also faced a low score, with Meghan placed 17th in the list with a popularity rating of just 23 per cent.
Her husband Prince Harry is higher on the list in 15th place, with a 27 per cent rating.
But a senior working royal appears to have been snubbed, as they appear much further down the list than their rank.
Prince Andrew was ranked the least popular member of the family
Although still in the top ten most popular royals, fans may be shocked to see Queen Camilla’s place on the YouGov list.
Despite the fact she has majorly stepped up when it comes to royal engagements this year during the King’s cancer journey, the Queen has been ranked ninth on the list with a popularity score of just 49 per cent, putting her below less senior members of the family including Zara Tindall, the King’s niece.
Prince Edward and his wife Sophie also appeared higher up in the list than Queen Camilla, with Edward scoring 52 per cent and Sophie coming in at 7th place with a 53 per cent popularity rating.
The list was made based on millions of responses from the British public.
