Princess Kate has offered a rare glimpse inside the summer she shared with Prince William and their three children George, Charlotte and Louis.
Princess Kate has confirmed she has “finally completed” her preventative chemotherapy treatment after a gruelling nine-months. In a frank admission to the public, the princess said it was a “relief” to have come to the end of her cancer journey.
The video, released today (September 9), hears Kate’s voice talking about her continued road to recovery, and “remaining cancer free”. But in the announcement were never-before-seen clips of her three children she shares with Prince William.
The raw footage shows the family-of-five spending quality time together in Norfolk over the warmer months – as Kate said her family has had to find a way to “navigate the stormy waters and road unknown.”
It captures a mix of up-close nature, among a family walk where the Waleses can be heard chatting among themselves as they explore rural woodland, with all of them flashing smiles as they embark on a little mini adventure.
The video appears to have been shot in two parts, with Kate and William wearing more formal attire for part of the footage. William in a blue shirt, and Kate in a white midi dress. The latter parts of the video show the entire family dressed in shorts and T-shirts with Kate in a casual denim shirt.

Some of the close-ups include Kate and William perched on a log in a loving embrace, as the children play nearby. Capturing the energy of Prince George, Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis, one part shows a close-up of the trio checking to see if the camera is actually recording.
Other snapshots show the Waleses playing a game of cards with Kate’s parents Carole and Michael Middleton at home. It also offers a small look at an informal family picnic, trips to the beach and Princess Kate driving a Land Rover through the rural area.
The video occasionally pans to a single portrait of Kate on her own as she depicts what sort of journey she has been on and her hopes for the future – which includes a slow return to work.
