Queen Camilla jealousy lashes out at ex husband Andrew Parker as he finds love again after divorce

Anne Robinson, the famously sharp-tongued  TV presenter and former deputy editor of the *Daily Mirror*, is approaching her 80th birthday, but she hasn’t softened with age. Known as the “Queen of Mean” for her biting comments on *The Weakest Link*, which she hosted on BBC for over a decade from 2000 to 2012, Robinson has built a reputation for her tough demeanor. Away from the cameras, though, she has admitted that her drive for success has come at a personal cost, particularly in her love life.

Born in Crosby, Merseyside, Robinson made her first  television appearance in 1982 as a panelist on *Question Time* and later presented *TV Choice* on *Breakfast Time*. Before her TV career, she worked as a journalist, rising to assistant editor at the *Daily Mirror*. Her writing talent helped her make the transition to broadcasting, but it was her harsh treatment of contestants on *The Weakest Link* that made her a star, even in the U.S., where she reportedly earned £1 million a year on NBC.

However, Robinson’s personal life has been much more turbulent than her professional one. She has been married twice, both times to fellow journalists, but both marriages ended in divorce. One of her divorces reportedly cost her £2 million. Robinson has spoken openly about how her struggles with alcohol and her drive for career success negatively impacted her early relationships. She turned her life around after becoming sober in 1987.

Her first marriage, to *Daily Mail* editor Charlie Wilson, whom she met at work, lasted from 1968 until their separation. They had a daughter, Emma, in 1970. Later, she married another journalist, John Penrose, in 1980, but they divorced in 2008. After years of enjoying single life, rumors surfaced last year that Robinson had rekindled romance with Andrew Parker Bowles, the 85-year-old ex-husband of Queen Camilla.

Though Robinson confirmed the relationship to *Saga* magazine at the time, she has since been tight-lipped about its current status. In a recent interview with the *Daily Mirror*, she refused to comment on her private life, simply saying, “I won’t talk about anything about my private life.” According to sources, Robinson and Parker Bowles, despite their different backgrounds, hit it off after being introduced by a mutual friend, with Parker Bowles reportedly impressing Robinson with his cooking skills.

While Anne Robinson remains a beloved and iconic figure in British television, her personal life continues to intrigue her fans, even as she maintains her privacy.
