With the $1 billion valuation of her renowned lingerie line, Rihanna has ascended to even greater heights of success.
As she gets ready for things to heat up, the nine-time Grammy winner is also releasing some new styles from her range.
Preparing for the arrival of spring, she flaunted her renowned figure on Instagram, posing in a hot pink bikini and matching robe for a sultry Savage X Fenty commercial from the 1970s.
The 33-year-old was sprawled out on a lounge chair in a verdant garden, sporting the turquoise ensemble.
With her long straightened hair and bangs, she resembled the iconic Cher in the retro-filtered picture, which she captioned, “savage af.” avoid tripping.
It follows the announcement earlier this month by luxury powerhouse LVMH that Fenty Fashion House has been placed on hold for two years.
‘Pending better conditions,’ the French company decided to part ways with Rihanna while maintaining their emphasis on Savage X Fenty, Fenty Beauty, and Fenty Skin.
Since then, Savage X Fenty has raised $115 million in its Series B fundraising round, bringing the company’s valuation to $1 billion—a significant milestone.
LVMH owns an interest in the private equity firm L Catterton, which assisted the brand in obtaining funds to launch an athletic wear line.
“After the fundraising round ended and L Catterton invested in Savage X Fenty, LVMH and Rihanna reaffirmed their ambition to concentrate on the growth and the long-term development of Fenty ecosystem focusing on cosmetics, skincare, and lingerie,” the duo released the following statement to WWD.
A few days before turning 33, she rejoiced over the news and received many kind words from celebrities like Cardi B, Mariah Carey, Megan Thee Stallion, and others.
‘And it’s (really her) birthday,’ Savage X Fenty wrote in a montage homage to their creator on Instagram. To the Baddest Gal, @badgalriri, happy birthday.
In addition, the Umbrella singer commemorated the occasion by launching a special edition ‘Queen Size’ of her visual autobiography, The Rihanna Book, which is priced at $1,495 and only 500 copies are available.
