Rihanna is reportedly selling a luxury LA penthouse once owned by Matthew Perry — less than a year after buying the 40th-floor unit.

The 36-year-old singer bought the residence last spring from Afterpay co-founder Nick Molnar, who bought it from the late Friends star in 2021.

Now, Rihanna is reportedly selling it for just under $25 million, Rob reports.

The Diamonds songstress is reportedly yet to move into the unit and has been trying to find an off-market buyer for the past few months. Rob Robert claims that current listings for the unit include photos of ‘clearly staged interiors’.

The unit occupies the entire 40th floor of The Century, a celebrity-worthy gated building with top-notch security with 24-hour concierge services.

Molnar owned the home for less than two years before selling it to Rihanna, Rob reports.

Perry owned the penthouse for four years and heavily customized the unit, recruiting architect Scott Joyce and interior designer LM Pagano to complete the work, Rob reports.

As the outlet reports, it doesn’t appear that Rihanna and Molnar have made any meaningful modifications to Perry’s customizations.

Molnar paid $21.6 million for the property, which the Los Angeles Times called “Southern California’s priciest condo sale since 2015.”

According to the LA Times, Perry reportedly spent almost as much time selling the residence as he did living there.

He bought the unit in 2017 for $20 million.

The condo comes with four bedrooms, eight bathrooms and four terraces with spectacular views from downtown Los Angeles to the Pacific Ocean.

A huge pool with cabanas, a state-of-the-art fitness center, a movie theater, private wine storage, and many other amenities are included with the building.

A minimum of two of the bedrooms have windows with an infinite 360-degree outlook that overlook the City of Angels.

There’s a sizable bar section in the kitchen that seats five or more.

The apartment is the ideal gathering place for guests because it has an abundance of seating areas allowing it to be the perfect hub for entertaining.

According to Rob Report, the penthouse is owned by Rihanna with monthly HOA dues of $8,814. Rihanna owns a total of two units in The Century.

In addition to the one she’s trying to offload, she has a small condo in the building, according to the outlet.

Rihanna’s sale comes less than a year after Perry’s heartbreaking death at the age of 54.

The Friends star died on October 28, 2023, of a ketamine overdose, after a lifetime of alcohol and drug addiction.
